DRUMS

Jamie is a passionate drum teacher with over seven years’ experience working with students of all ages and abilities. Based in London and Kent, Jamie has taught at YMS since 2023, as well as privately and at other respected music schools, including DrumWise, The Rock Music School and most recently the online tuition agency Love To Learn Drums.  Whether your aim is graded exams, learning a particular song, performing with a band, or playing purely for fun, Jamie’s engaging and hands-on style ensures steady progress and an enjoyable learning journey. 

Jamie is also an accomplished performer, having toured extensively throughout Europe with multiple bands such as Immortal Machinery, Novacaine Nothing, and The MLN Ensemble. Jamie’s also the house drummer for the popular monthly jazz and funk jam in High Wycombe known as Catch22 Jams, as well as for the annual Wycombe Jazz Festival and FrogFEST.  

Jamie’s dedication to his craft, both as a teacher and performer, make him a valuable mentor for aspiring drummers of any age or background. His passion for music, coupled with real-world experience and approachable teaching style, ensures that every student receives personalised guidance and achieves their full potential — whether behind the kit, in the studio, or on the stage.
