Throughout his career, Lawrie has incorporated teaching into his work, and is known for his ability to help students reach their full potential, whilst at the same time fostering in them a real confidence and passion for music. He is currently a specialist keyboard, piano, and songwriting tutor at Canterbury Christchurch University, as well as teaching piano in Simon Langton Girls school, and to private clients locally and internationally with digital lessons. His teaching can incorporate all interests and genres, including exploring songwriting, which brings the keyboard and piano to life for his pupils.
