LINDSAY EDMONDSON
SAXOPHONE | CLARINET | FLUTE
Lindsay is an experienced and passionate multi-instrumentalist, specialising in clarinet, flute, and saxophone. With a long-standing career as both performer and teacher, she brings a wealth of real-world experience and creativity into every lesson she teaches.
As a performer, Lindsay has performed at events such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival, and London’s legendary 100 Club. She has played a wide variety of musical styles—from folk and rock to jazz and ska—and currently performs with a Brighton-based ska band. Her versatility has also made her a sought-after player for original artists and event bands alike. Lindsay has worked with respected agencies including Motown Gold, Singing Surprise, The Funtime Frankies, The Covered, and Blackbird Entertainment, performing at weddings, birthdays, and corporate events across the UK.
Lindsay's teaching approach is relaxed, student-centred, and inclusive. She is dedicated to helping learners of all levels unlock their musical potential, overcome the physical challenges of playing woodwind instruments, and enjoy making music from the very first lesson. She has taught both individually and in small groups for many years, and has also served as musical director for various ensembles, including the Kent Music Summer School Music Explorers Course—an introductory program helping young musicians experience the joy of playing in a larger group.
Lindsays enthusiasm for music and education is infectious. Whether performing on stage or teaching in the classroom, she is dedicated to inspiring others, supporting their musical journeys, and nurturing creativity at every level.
