PIANO | KEYBOARD

Nick was brought up in Herne Bay and went to the Geoffrey Chaucer School in Canterbury. Here, he was an active member of the music department where he studied piano and was a member of the school Senior and Madrigal choir, later becoming their accompanist. After leaving school he joined local performing arts societies, later becoming Musical Director for their shows. After one of these shows, his band line up formed the main part of local soul band Rubber Biscuit. After working on this project for 18 months, Nick was offered the opportunity to work on cruise ships as the resident band.

Since 1994, Nick has worked with YMS. He still gigs regularly for private, Masonic and Golf Club Functions.
As well as teaching here at YMS, Nick currently teaches at St Stephen's Junior School, Herne Bay High School and The Canterbury Academy.
